Allow me to introduce myself

Clingman's Dome, NC/TN

I currently teach philosophy at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. Before coming to NMSU in the Fall of 2017, I taught for nine years at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

My research specialization is ethics–my primary interests are in value theory and meta-ethics, with secondary interests in normative ethics and the nature of justice.

When I’m not doing philosophy, I follow the Seattle Mariners and the Seattle Seahawks, go for bike rides on my 1982 Trek 613, go on hikes in the Organ Mountains, and try to be a good husband and dad.
